I'm Corinne, founder of Lingohubz.

My journey into languages began at the age of 12 when I started learning French at school and trying to speak the lingo during family holidays.

I spent some years living and working in France and later broadened my experience by working as a Press Attaché for The Tunisian Tourist Office. I learned Spanish whilst studying for an MA in Interpreting and Translation (it’s never too late to learn!) and ever since have travelled to a number of Hispanic countries learning and speaking the language.

I joined the teaching profession because I love working with kids and I believe that speaking languages can widen our view of the world and give us opportunities in life, as French did for me. My 11 years of experience of teaching French and Spanish up to KS5 and as a curriculum postholder/teacher trainer, I have realised that access to language learning from a young age can be sporadic and we need to close the gap at KS2-3. We need to prepare our future generations for competence in learning language through a stimulating and fun environment.
