Lingohubz provides high quality French & Spanish sessions and workshops to young people and adults, within schools and community spaces. We believe in kick-starting language learning whatever the age - being able to communicate, feel confident and discover new cultures. Speaking the lingo on a family holiday or a weekend away with friends is a must!

Lingohbuz adopts a communicative and adaptive approach to teaching languages with emphasis on receptive skills and oracy. The teacher presents the language, it’s practised using song, rhyme, active movement and games, integrating elements of reading and translation. The students then apply their language knowledge, in written and spoken form, through creative, cross-curricular projects. 

At Lingohubz our schemes of work are meticulously planned and adapted to the needs of our learners. We incorporate visual, aural and kinesthetic activities using authentic and tailor-made resources. At Lingohubz students help design and implement their own projects such as building shops with role play, making 3D houses or getting creative in the kitchen. Cross-curricular and challenging content results in excellent outcomes.

Research shows that language learning enhances metacognition and assists in problem solving. In a fast-paced changing world, speaking two or more languages is a gateway to travel, academic success and exciting career opportunities. We teach 4 life skills: Resilience, Presentation, Resourcefulness and Creativity, so that all our pupils gain culture capital and become great citizens. 

At Lingohubz we prepare the groundwork early for our young people to be able to succeed in the exam system. From KS3 (years 7-9) we start to give them the tools and techniques to build language and later apply it to exam syllabi; GCSE, IGCSE, A Levels, or IBacc. At GCSE and A Level we offer 1-2-1 tuition with exam materials. We have excellent, proven results. Lessons on request.

All teachers and Teaching Assistants at Lingohubz undergo training and CPD in language instruction, pedagogy and safeguarding children. Class sizes are kept small for personalised and safe learning. At Lingohubz we are DBS checked and First Aiders.
